Erin Jones, CPA

Erin JonesErin is one of our partners and focuses on bookkeeping, consulting, tax return preparation, IRS representation, business advisement and compilations and reviews. She is a Nevada registered Certified Public Accountant (license number CPA-5134). In addition to holding her CPA license, Erin is a Quickbooks ProAdvisor. She loves helping small businesses grow. Erin graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she was the President of Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting honors society.

Upon graduation, Erin was hired by Excelsis Accounting Group (formerly Mark Bailey and Company, Ltd.) She quickly grew from a staff accountant to a manager, and ultimately ended up running the tax department. In addition to tax, Erin managed both audits of non-public companies and public companies. Erin specialized in non public audits related to manufacturing, retail and gaming. Additionally, Erin was in charge of year end audits and quarterly reviews for publicly traded entities. This included evaluation of internal controls.

Since 2016, Erin has been a Controller for two large homebuilders; one in Northern Nevada (Silverado Homes) and a custom homebuilder in Truckee, California. She has extensive experience in the following areas relating to contractors: Contracts, budgeting/pro-forma’s, income projection, client invoicing and accounts receivable collection, client invoicing, bank draws, cash flow management and change order recommendation/management.

Erin also served as Operations Controller for The Applied Companies (a PEO; Professional Employer Organization) where she managed over eighty companies payroll. She streamlined the payroll processes there and  ultimately decided to refocus on growing Belle Business Services back in late 2018.

In addition to helping small businesses, Erin has become passionate about helping non-profits. Erin sits on the board (as a Treasurer) for both the Bud Beasley Elementary School PTO and the Desert Highlands Homeowner’s Association. In 2018, Erin was hired for a consulting position, as a Fiscal Manager for a small non-profit in Lake Tahoe; The Tahoe Prosperity Center.

Julie Rich, CAP, CPB, CPS, CQA

Julie Rich

Julie is one of our partners and focuses on client daily operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, and consulting, particularly business setup and management.  She is a licensed Certified Accounting Professional (license number 3004), Certified Public Bookkeeper (license number 3784), Certified Payroll Specialist (license number 3065), and Certified QuickBooks Advisor (license number 3060).  Julie is an active member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers.

Julie began her accounting career at a collection agency as an assistant bookkeeper where for 3 years, she did debtor payment processing, client payments, worked with clients, and completed month end.

Her next move was to a single person accounting office in a medical department of the State of Nevada, at the University of Nevada, Reno.  She quickly gained their trust and became the manager of the expanding department and its several employees. During her tenure, she personally implemented two computer systems, including QuickBooks, as well as an extensive medical billing system. Julie was nearing completion of a third system, a purchasing and inventory system upon her exit with the University in order to start Belle Business Services. Being part of the State of Nevada, University of Nevada, Reno and the Nevada System of Higher Education for nearly 11 years, she gained extensive experience not only in management and government accounting, but also in HIPPA, medical billing, collections, internal controls, audit preparation, grant appropriations, detailed documentation, and audits.

A combination of her studies at Western Governors University and experience gives Julie the expertise to expand her knowledge into business management.  She also worked with The Bosma Group, P.C. as an Administrative Director, handling the office management, human resources, internal accounting, as well as reviewing bookkeeping and payroll related work prepped by staff accountants for 2 years before their merger with a national accounting firm.
