The Nevada State Contractors Board requires the following financial requirements based on the bid limit you will be applying for:
For Bid Limits of <$10,000
The Board allows for you to complete your own personal financial statement on their prescribed form. You can get this form on the Contractors Board Website. However, we can prepare this for you, if you would like us to. Pricing starts at $300.
For Bid Limits of $10,000 – $49,999
The Board requires a compiled financial statement (balance sheet only) prepared by an independent CPA (at minimum). The pricing for this statement starts at $300.
For Bid Limits of $50,000 – $249,999
The Board requires a compiled financial statement (balance sheet only), with full disclosures, prepared by an independent CPA (at minimum). The pricing for this statement starts at $600.
For Bid Limits > $250,000
The Board requires a reviewed financial statement (balance sheet only), prepared by an independent CPA (at minimum). The pricing for this service starts at $1,500.
For Expedited Turnaround
24-hour turnaround for an additional 100% of the fixed cost.
48-hour turnaround for an additional 50% of the fixed cost.
For Tennessee Contractors:
The board requires annually reviewed financial statements for contractors who’s bid limit is greater than $1.5M. We are able to provide reviewed financial statements for you too, at a fixed cost of $1,500!
For Hawaii Contractors:
The State of Hawaii requires a financial statement, on their prescribed form, not more than a year old. They require it to be compiled or reviewed, with an independent accountant’s report. We are able to provide this service for the same prices we do for our Nevada Contractors (see above).

Please note that our starting prices are contingent upon our CPA receiving complete, clean and accurate accounting record at the beginning of the engagement. Incomplete records and multiple revisions to the financial statements will result in additional fees billed hourly at the discounted rate of $325 per partner hour or $100 per staff hour. Generally, this pricing is good for brand new businesses with NO prior activity, or for clients who are currently using a certified bookkeeper or accountant for the preparation of their books. Books in which are not prepared by a certified bookkeeper or an accountant are subject to additional fees, as described above. Independence will be reviewed prior to the signing of the engagement letter. If our Certified Public Accountant is not going to be able to be independent, you will be notified, and the engagement will not be accepted.
